Warehouse/Shipping Manager
Stabilit America, one of the nations leading producers of reinforced fiberglass panels, has an immediate opening for the position of Warehouse/Shipping Manager for their headquarters located in Moscow, Tennessee. This individual will have full responsibility for the efficient operation of six (6) warehouses located throughout the US and Canada as well as our Customer Service Department in Tennessee. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Strategically planning and managing inventory, warehouses, transportation and customer service.
Direct, optimize and coordinate full order cycle.
Select carriers for transportation and negotiate rates and contracts.
Efficiently manage inventory by keeping track of quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transportation costs and efficiency.
Meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets
Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements
Monitor and manage budgets
Comply with laws, regulations and ISO requirements
Requirements include at least 7 years of experience in warehouse supervision and management, ability to work independently and handle multiple projects, excellent customer service skills, advanced in MS Office, well organized and good communication skills. Working with international shipments is a definite plus. Prefer a B.S. in Logistics or Business Administration or equivalent work experience.
