Position Summary and Personal Attributes :
Ashley Hall School seeks an experienced full time mathematics teacher to join its upper school math faculty. The successful candidate must have experience teaching a variety of levels in the high school (grades 9-12) including Statistics. Though not a requirement, a strong teaching background in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program or training in IB methodology would be advantageous. The successful teacher candidate will have a love of learning and working with high school students, placing students at the center of the learning experience. The important work of the Ashley Hall Mathematics teacher is to engage students in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) practices and applications through coursework that is challenging and that builds upon prerequisite skills and knowledge. The curriculum developed and taught is an opportunity to gain experience with various types of STEM applications and secure a strong foundation. Such an inspirational teacher must possess excellent pedagogical skills and knowledge of the subjects they are to teach. At the core of the successful candidate's instructional methodology is the ability to differentiate instruction so students of various levels can successfully access learning. We seek an individual with the skills and determination to make a significant difference in the lives of our students and one who will embrace the school's hallmarks and mission.

Ashley Hall offers a competitive salary that is commensurate with experience. Full time faculty teach five sections, which may include preparation for up to three different courses per semester and complete ancillary duties and responsibilities as assigned.
