**Aerospace manufacturer in Lancaster, PA is looking for an Aluminum TIG Welder on 1st and 2nd shift. Pay will depend on experience, and ranges between $25-34/hr. Company is seeing increased business demand and needs to grow their team.** **Responsibilities** + Operate manual welder to TIG weld components safely according to specifications. + Follow weld instructions and complete projects based on blueprints. + Perform tack-weld functions to join metal workpieces at specified distances. + Inspect and record quality requirements of finished workpieces. + Use all safety devices/tools to ensure safe operation of welding processes. + Ensure work area is kept clean and organized at all times. + Comply with company policies and procedures. **Essential Skills** + High school diploma, GED, or equivalent technical school diploma preferred. + 5+ years of related experience and/or training preferred. + Proficient in using micrometers, calipers, and other measuring tools. + Ability to read and work to set tolerances from blueprints. + Ability to set up and operate welding machines. ***Interviews are being scheduled over the next 2 weeks and looking to have candidates start ASAP*** **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lancaster, PA. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $34.00/hr.
