Schedule: Day shift, Monday – Friday, with a rotating On Call schedule

About Us:  Charleston Veterinary Referral Center (CVRC) is a is a 24-hour emergency referral center located in beautiful Charleston, SC. We are the ONLY VECCS Level 1 Certified Facility in South Carolina and 1 of 2 in the southeast region of the United States! We currently have a 16,000 square foot, state of the art facility with plans to grow in 2025! Our emergency center is staffed 24 hours, 7 days a week, 365 days a year to always support our community. Specialty services offered at CVRC include cardiology, internal medicine, neurology & neurosurgery, medical oncology rehabilitation, soft tissue & orthopedic surgery. Our hospital houses an MRT, CT, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, and digital radiographs for diagnostic imaging. Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years working as a technician, preferably in specialty medicine or ECC. LVT certification is preferred, but not required
• Understanding of all basic veterinary knowledge, knowledge of common surgical instruments and their uses, basic knowledge of surgical prepping and positioning for a variety of procedures
• Experience managing patients under anesthesia for a variety of abdominal, thoracic, orthopedic, and minimally invasive procedures. Experience with calculating and administering CRI medications appropriately
• Availability for an anesthesia on-call shift rotation on nights, weekends, and holidays
• Attention to detail and strong communication skills with both clients and team members
