Adobe Road Winery produces small lot wines from premier family-owned vineyards across Sonoma County and Napa Valley. Owners Kevin and Debra Buckler founded the winery in 2002, with a unique tie to the world of professional motorsports. As a championship racecar driver, Kevin’s passion and drive earned him over 100 professional racing victories. With that same passion and drive, Kevin is now dedicated to crafting exceptional wines that represent the pinnacle of quality from the most esteemed vineyards in Sonoma and Napa.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Digital Marketing Manager to oversee the online presence of Adobe Road Winery. This person will manage our social media plan, e-commerce programs, and provide website support. The ideal candidate will have a passion for wine, a consumer-focused mindset, and a proven track record in successfully managing social media, e-commerce, and website maintenance.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Social Media Management:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Maintain content calendar that aligns with brand messaging
- Create, curate, and manage all published content (photos, graphics and video), with collaboration across departments
- Develop and manage targeted media buys
- Monitor and respond to users to foster positive relationships and build our online community
- Analyze and report key metrics and tweak strategy as needed
E-Commerce Communication:
- Develop and manage the e-comm calendar
- Write and edit email and SMS marketing content, and other digital materials
- Coordinate with the team to execute marketing campaigns that drive online sales
- Facilitate online customer service interactions to ensure excellent customer experiences
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of e-commerce campaigns
Website Management:
- Maintain and update the winery’s website for both the content site and cart
- Work closely with web developers to ensure website functionality and efficiency
- Implement SEO best practices and manage Google Ads for traffic-driving and sales campaigns
- Analyze website traffic and user behavior to inform improvements
Qualifications:
- 4+ years digital marketing experience, preferably within wine and bev/alc industry
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms, best practices, including community management, content creation, and paid advertising
- Experience with social media analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics and Meta)
- Strong writing, editing, and communication skills
- Familiarity with web design and content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Wine Direct)
- Experience in e-commerce (Wine Direct experience a plus)
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently and in a small team environment
- Passion for wine and knowledge of the wine industry is a plus
Preferred Skills:
- Digital graphic design skills (e.g., Canva, Adobe products)
- Video production and editing skills
- Knowledge of SEO and SEM
- Email marketing experience (e.g., MailChimp, Constant Contact)
- SMS marketing experience (e.g. Red Chirp)
- Proficient with Google products (folders, drives, etc)

Pay Scale: The salary range for this position is between $60,000-70,000 depending on experience. The actual compensation offered will be based on factors, including but not limited to, qualifications, skills, experience, education, and alignment with market data.
