What You'll Do

The Service   Manager role is a leadership position focused on performance and accountability for our Service Department .  In this role, you will provide oversight and management to field operations and support companywide strategic initiatives.  This position is responsible for communication between the Service Department with all other internal and external stakeholders. 

  • Work with the Operations team to ensure project management processes are followed
  • Project Management and implementation.  
  • Manage Service scopes, approval, timeline, and changes for the duration of the Service projects.
  • Facilitate all communications with internal and external teams relating to Service projects including sales, administration, design, etc.
  • Communicate with customers, contractors, internal Absco personnel, and support staff to ensure effective implementation and completion of Service items.
  • Track performance of assigned initiatives and assigned personnel.
  • Assist and coordinate management and development of Operations field and support personnel.
  • Manage Service operations budget and coordinate project items for sub-contractors, per-diem, materials, and all labor items.
  • Attend and participate in required meetings involving discussions over Corporate strategy affecting the Service Department, P&Ls, profitability, or any other necessary meetings determined by Absco Solutions Management.
  • Ensure work completed is consistent with manufacturer requirements, code requirements, product limitations, and meets customer needs.
  • Provide feedback to Operations management to improve efficiencies and processes.
  • Support customer relations and promptly respond to customer inquiries to resolve planning and operational issues
  • Oversee all central station monitoring and UL2050 accounts

What You'll Bring

  • Three or more years' experience with low voltage electrical
  • High School diploma/GED required
  • One or more years’ Service or Project Management experience
  • Budgeting and business analysis experience to provide reporting and financial presentations
  • Travel as necessary to support the business
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and clean driving record, pursuant to Absco Solutions' driver insurability requirements
  • Ability to pass background
  • Current or former EL06 and / or NICET II certification preferred
  • Knowledge of proper installation and capabilities of low voltage security and fire/life safety systems preferred
