Job Description

A fast-growing aerospace company is looking for a Senior Environmental Specialist to join its team at their main facility site near Torrance, CA. The candidate will collaborate with the broader Environmental team to meet various EHS objectives and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, while serving as a subject matter expert.

The Role

• Develop, manage, and implement environmental programs in line with federal, state, local, and corporate requirements.
• Ensure environmental permitting requirements are met across air, waste, and water sectors.
• Own the hazardous waste program and ensure continuous compliance.
• Develop and deliver environmental training programs.

The Candidate

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Environmental, or a relevant major.
• 5+ years of EHS experience in heavy manufacturing or other high-risk industries.
• Strong knowledge of SCAQMD, RCRA, and hazardous waste regulations.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
