Job Description

Points North is looking for a dynamic and motivated People and Culture (HR) Generalist to join our growing People and Culture team! In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of functions, including recruitment and talent acquisition, organizational development, employee relations, and benefits administration. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HR best practices, excellent interpersonal skills, and a passion for fostering a positive workplace culture. 

What You’ll Be Doing: 

Recruitment and Talent Acquisition: 

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, candidate sourcing, interviewing, and facilitating a smooth offer to onboarding experience  

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand headcount needs and develop effective recruitment strategies based  

  • Enhance employer branding through outreach initiatives and online presence  

Organizational Development: 

  • Assist in the design and implementation of training and development programs 

  • Support performance management processes, including goal setting and bi-annual performance reviews cadences 

  • Participate in career architecture refresh developing clear career pathing for employees  

  • Promote employee engagement initiatives and contribute to a positive organizational culture 

Employee Relations: 

  • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and workplace issues 

  • Address and resolve employee concerns and conflicts in a timely and professional manner 

  • Conduct exit interviews, bi-annual employee engagement surveys, new hire feedback and stay interviews with employees; analyze feedback for continuous improvement 

Benefits Administration: 

  • Support employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies 

  • Assist employees with benefits enrollment and inquiries 

  • Stay updated on benefits trends and regulations to ensure compliance 

People and Culture Support: 

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and documentation 

  • Assist in the development and implementation of company policies and procedures 

  • Active member of the Culture Committee  

  • Support various projects and initiatives, as needed 

We're Looking For: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; or relevant equivalent experience in the field   

  • 3+ years of experience in an employee facing People and Culture role (Recruitment, HRBP, HR Generalist) 

  • Minimum of 6+ months experience in a high growth SaaS or agency environment  

  • Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail 

  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality 

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Applicant Tracking, and HRIS systems
