Recess Pediatric Therapy is a dedicated provider of pediatric occupational speech and physical therapy services. Our mission is to support children in reaching their fullest potential in a fun nurturing and therapeutic environment. We are currently seeking a detailoriented and organized individual to join our team as a Pediatric Therapy Scheduling Coordinator and Front Desk Receptionist.

Job Overview:

The Scheduling Coordinator and Front Desk Receptionist plays a vital role in ensuring our pediatric therapy center runs smoothly. In this position you will manage the scheduling of therapy appointments handle front desk duties and provide an excellent first impression for all who visit or contact our clinic. This role requires experience in a fastpaced environment preferably within pediatric therapy and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Schedule and coordinate appointments for occupational speech and physical therapy services ensuring efficient use of clinic resources
• Answer phone calls emails and inperson inquiries with a professional and friendly demeanor
• Greet and checkin patients and families ensuring a welcoming atmosphere
• Verify and update patient information process paperwork and handle intake forms
• Assist with billing inquiries collect payments and process insurance claims when necessary
• Maintain organized records and confidential patient files
• Manage office supply inventory and maintain a clean organized front desk area
• Collaborate with therapists and other staff to optimize scheduling and patient flow

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in healthcare administration is a plus
• Minimum of 12 years experience in a scheduling or front desk role preferably in a pediatric therapy or healthcare setting
• Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency with scheduling software and office applications (e.g. MS Office Suite electronic health records)
• Compassionate patient and professional demeanor with a passion for working with children and families
