Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled MIG Welder to set up, operate, and tend automated welding, soldering, or brazing machines and robots used to join or heat-treat metal products, components, or assemblies. This role may also include operating laser cutters or laser-beam machines for precision work. Please note that positions primarily focused on plasma or laser cutting of intricate shapes, rather than metal joining, will be classified under CNC Machine Tool Programmers and Operators (JM05).

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate MIG welding equipment, robots, or automated machinery.
• Weld, braze, solder, or heat-treat components according to specifications.
• Inspect welds and finished assemblies to ensure quality standards are met.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings.
• Maintain welding equipment and perform routine troubleshooting.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a MIG Welder or in a related welding role.
• Strong knowledge of welding techniques, tools, and safety standards.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
