Job Description

We are a leading provider of in-home and in-office mental health services in the Macon area. Professional Counseling Services is dedicated to offering high-quality counseling, crisis intervention, and prevention services to individuals and families in a supportive and accessible manner.

Position Purpose:

Our counselors focus on prevention and behavior modification, working with adults and children to promote optimal mental health. This includes addressing issues such as addiction, substance abuse, family dynamics, stress management, self-esteem, and mental/emotional health.

Key Responsibilities:

Complete thorough documentation based on clinical expertise.
Conduct client assessments through interviews, observations, and tests.
Perform drug screenings when necessary.
Evaluate clients' physical and mental conditions based on comprehensive reviews.
Ensure confidentiality of client records.
Monitor, evaluate, and document client progress towards measurable treatment goals.
Maintain a minimum of 25 billable hours per week (face-to-face client time).
Submit documentation within 72 hours of service delivery.
Work Schedule:

Monday to Friday with weekend availability and on-call responsibilities.
Regular meetings with team leader.
Flexible scheduling based on client needs.
Additional training opportunities provided, separate from billable hours.
Work Location:

Multiple locations including Macon, GA and surrounding counties.
In-home and community-based settings with potential for remote work.
Qualification Requirements:

Master's degree preferred; Bachelor's degree with internship experience considered.
Pursuing or possessing licensure (LPC, LCSW, LMHC, LMFT) suitable for office and in-home counseling.
Minimum 1 year of mental health counseling experience preferred.
Comfort with travel (up to 70% preferred).
