Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive Basis and security strategy for ECC and S/4 HANA environments, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in SAP Basis and Security to drive continuous improvement and innovation.

Operational Management:

• Ensure the stability, performance, and security of SAP systems through routine maintenance and troubleshooting in a global landscape.
• Oversee the management of SAP ECC and S/4 HANA environments, ensuring high availability and performance.

Team Management:

• Lead and manage a global team of SAP Basis and Security professionals, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
• Provide mentorship, guidance, and support to team members to enhance their skills and performance.

Compliance and Risk Management:

• Oversee compliance with IT security policies and procedures, conducting risk assessments and implementing mitigation strategies.
• Manage GRC governance to ensure robust security and compliance measures are in place.

Project Management:

• Lead and deliver projects related to SAP Basis and Security, ensuring timely completion within scope and budget.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives and deliver value to the organization.

Stakeholder Engagement:

• Collaborate with IT leaders and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
• Act as a key point of contact for SAP Basis and Security-related inquiries and issues.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 5-7 years of proven experience in SAP Basis and Security operations.
• Approximately 3 years of experience managing an SAP Basis and Security team.
• Strong knowledge of SAP ECC and S/4 HANA environments.
• Experience with S/4 HANA Security role design and SAP's security architecture.
• Familiarity with GRC technology platforms and CHARM.
• Experience leading a global team and managing cross-functional projects.
• Excellent understanding of IT security best practices and risk management.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Certifications in SAP Basis and Security.
• Familiarity with Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and SAP Access Control.
• Knowledge of Identity Management and Governance from a broader security perspective.
