What You Will Be Doing

A reputable company in Grand Rapids, MI, is seeking a skilled HVAC Sheet Metal Installer to join their team. This role involves installing HVAC mechanical equipment and ductwork in new commercial construction projects.

The Ideal Candidate

Installation: Install mechanical equipment and ductwork according to blueprints, specifications, and drawings.

Inspection: Inspect work to ensure it meets specifications and work schedules.
Safety: Prioritize safety on all job sites and adhere to all safety protocols.
Productivity: Maintain workflow schedules to meet productivity objectives.
Coordination: Coordinate with other trades on site to ensure smooth project execution.

Other Essential Functions

Experience: Minimum of 2+ years of verifiable sheet metal installation experience preferred.
Tools: Possess basic trade hand and power tools. Apprentices should have basic hand tools; journeymen should have both hand and power tools.
License: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Reliability: Dependable and able to work 40 hours a week.
Teamwork: Ability to work well with others in a collaborative environment.
Commercial Equipment: Familiarity with commercial HVAC equipment.
Attributes: Must be reliable, efficient, determined, safety-trained, and safety-conscious with an exceptional work ethic.
Driving Record: Must have a clean driving record.

Team Player: Strong desire to be part of a high-performance, fast-paced team.
