Job Description

LaSalle Network is seeking a talented and creative Freelance Illustrator to join our network of creative professionals. The ideal candidate will possess a strong illustration portfolio, demonstrating proficiency in a variety of styles and techniques. This is a part-time, remote freelance opportunity, offering flexibility and the chance to work on diverse and engaging projects.

Our client is a growing marketing and communications firm that offers services like strategy, branding, creative development, and media planning. They are seeking a freelance illustrator to help with a 2-month long contract, this will also be a w2 contract opportunity.

Freelance Illustrator Responsibilities:

Create high-quality illustrations for a variety of projects
Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand project requirements and objectives
Develop and present initial concepts and sketches, incorporating feedback as needed
Deliver final illustrations in specified formats and within agreed-upon deadlines
Maintain a consistent style and adhere to brand guidelines
Stay up-to-date with the latest illustration trends, techniques, and software

Freelance Illustrator Qualifications:

Proven experience as a professional illustrator with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of illustration styles
Expertise in industry-standard illustration software, such as Adobe Illustrator
Excellent drawing, sketching, and digital illustration skills
Strong understanding of composition, color theory, and visual storytelling
Experience with animation principles and software (e.g., Adobe Animate, After Effects)
Experience in creating illustrations for specific industries (e.g., manufacturing, engineering, etc.)
