Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year. This full-time, remote position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by providing one-on-one support to an elementary school student through innovative teletherapy methods.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver tailored instruction and support to a single student with hearing loss using teletherapy platforms.
Utilize American Sign Language (ASL) to facilitate communication and enhance learning.
Collaborate with school staff, parents, and other professionals to ensure the student's educational needs are met.

Caseload: One-on-one with an elementary school student

Qualifications:

Certified as a Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher (DHHT) in Kentucky
Proficient in American Sign Language (ASL)
Basic computer skills to effectively use teletherapy tools and resources
