Job Description

System One is seeking an experienced Senior Contract Manager for a long-term contract position working in Denver, CO.



This role will focus on managing contracts related to gas turbines, wind, solar, and battery storage initiatives, with a portfolio size of $300-500 million. You will oversee existing contracts, negotiate new agreements, and collaborate closely with engineering and construction teams.



Responsibilities

• Manage and administer existing contracts, including large construction and equipment supply agreements.
• Implement new contracts, including drafting and issuing requests for proposals (RFPs) to prospective suppliers and contractors.
• Evaluate proposals, negotiate terms, and oversee the contract lifecycle from inception to completion.
• Collaborate with engineering and construction managers to support power generation projects in the Denver area.
• Anticipate travel within the local area to construction sites as projects progress, typically a day or two per week.
• Foster strong working relationships across teams to ensure project success.

Qualifications/Skills

• 10-12 years of experience in the power generation or industrial/commercial construction industry.
• Proven track record in managing complex agreements and strong contract negotiation skills.
• Proficient in SAP and Coupa (contract management software).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Self-driven, forward-thinking, and able to take initiative within a collaborative team environment.
• Ability to understand and manage the complexities and risks associated with large contracts.

Contract Duration: 12-months

Schedule: M-F, Hybrid schedule
Pay Rate: $80 - $85 / Hour
