Job Description

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Assistant Property Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our properties. The ideal candidate will have experience in property management, accounting, and finance, as well as excellent communication and leadership skills. Knowledge of accounts payable/accounts receivable, CAM recs, and property inspections is also preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of property operations, including leasing, maintenance, and tenant relations
• Perform regular property inspections and ensure all buildings and grounds are well-maintained
• Handle accounts payable/accounts receivable and maintain accurate financial records
• Prepare CAM recs and handle any discrepancies or issues
• Communicate with tenants and address any concerns or complaints in a timely and professional manner
• Develop and manage budgets for each property and monitor expenses
• Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors and service providers
• Stay updated on local real estate laws and regulations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• 2-3 years of experience in property management or a similar role
• Knowledge of accounts payable/accounts receivable, CAM recs, and property inspections
• Strong understanding of real estate and leasing processes
• Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and property management software
• Strong attention to detail and ability to spot and resolve issues quickly
• Previous experience in commercial property management is a plus
