This is your chance to make an impact on one of the world’s most vital transportation infrastructures, working alongside leaders in aviation, engineering, data science, and systems integration.

At Peraton, you won’t just support the mission — you’ll define it.

Help shape the future of U.S. airspace safety and efficiency. We are seeking an Alaska Workstream Product Owner to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain in-depth experience in federal contracting while supporting high-visibility aviation programs.

In this position, you will:

  • Manage the product vision, roadmap, and backlog, enabling deployment of solutions that enhance safety, resiliency, and communications in one of the most challenging aviation regions in the world.

  • Serve as the Product Owner for the Alaska modernization workstream within FAA programs.

  • Define, maintain, and prioritize the product vision, roadmap, and backlog aligned to Alaska’s operational needs.

  • Translate stakeholder requirements into user stories, features, and epics for engineering teams.

  • Collaborate with FAA leaders, local operators, and technical experts to define priorities and ensure alignment with mission objectives.

  • Support the deployment of infrastructure, communications, surveillance, and navigation solutions specific to Alaska.

  • Lead backlog refinement, sprint planning, and release prioritization with Agile teams.

  • Ensure solutions comply with FAA safety standards, cybersecurity frameworks, and resiliency requirements.

  • Provide progress reports, KPIs, and value delivery metrics to FAA leadership.

  • Identify and manage dependencies, risks, and mitigation strategies for Alaska programs.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex product backlogs and feature prioritization.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills with experience briefing executives.
  • Ability to work in multi-disciplinary and geographically dispersed teams.

Why This Role Matters
